Instructor Biographies
Daniel Brett return to top
Daniel graduated with a degree in Drum Performance from the Atlanta Institute of Music (www.atlantainstituteofmusic.com). His primary instrument is the Drum-Set, but he can amply teach a vast array of percussion instruments, music theory, and some guitar. He is currently pursuing a Certificate in Guitar from Berklee’s online program.
Dan has done many different things including numerous tours around the Southeast with a variety of different bands. Dan is currently performing and touring with the Roman Street Band, where he plays the Congas and other hand percussion.
As for teaching experience, Dan is a natural and has been teaching others for as long as he has been playing. He teaches Beginning-Advanced drum-set/percussion, Beginning Guitar, and Beginning Bass.
Josh Thompson return to top
Josh has studied/played guitar for a number of years, first studying under his older brother and then gaining formal tutelage under 2 European guitar masters, Toni Donadio and Nic Niedermann (www.tonicstrings.ch). His international studies with these two virtuosos continues to this day.
Josh can be heard playing guitar around the gulf coast with the Roman Street band, where he delights everyone who gets the chance to hear his genius.
Josh provides guitar lessons to all ages during the summer months. He teaches Beginning-Advanced Guitar.
Dave Denton return to top
With 8 years of dedicated study in all aspects of guitar, and 4 years of teaching professional guitar lessons (including teaching at Nashville’s Camp Electric), Dave is well equipped to teach guitar of all styles and levels. He also has 2 years of experience leading worship at Bay Community Church with Mark Harris (www.markharrisonline.com) and spent a year touring with Mark around the southeast playing in front of thousands of people.
Dave is available for Classical, Acoustic, and Electric Guitar Lessons, Beginning-Advanced.
Britt Burch return to top
Britt Burch has 17 years of dedicated study in guitar and 12 years of experience performing with various groups with styles including Heavy Metal, Flamenco, Classical, Rock, and Blues. Britt was educated at the world renown Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and graduated with a Performance Certificate in Guitar. He has also studied Classical/Flamenco Guitar at the University of Memphis under Lily Afshar, a protege of Andres Segovia. Britt specializes in teaching general technique and loves to teach Metal.
